Houseflies are a fairly common issue for the majority of homes. Their body is 4-7.5mm in size. They are insects that reproduce at relatively fast rates and not dealing with them in time will have unpleasant results.
Female flies during their lifetime (3-4 weeks approximately) lay about 500-600 eggs which hatch within 12-24 hours. To lay their eggs they prefer animal feces, garbage, rotting fruits and vegetables.
Initially they are white caterpillars which in a maximum of one week become nymphs and then adult flies.
Houseflies can carry and transmit more than 100 diseases (conjunctivitis, poliomyelitis, typhoid fever, etc.) while at the same time they can also become intermediate hosts for parasites that live in animals
To deal with the house fly, we initially recommend:
- Fly traps for outdoor areas
- Special glue insect traps inside
Installation of air curtains on the doors. - Also, under certain conditions, larvicide and aphidicide spraying can be done.
